European alternatives for DNS, reverse proxy, tunnels and email
Replace non-EU services such as Cloudflare DNS, Cloudflare Tunnel, ngrok and Google or Microsoft domain email with a single European provider: NorthDNS.
Why European alternatives
More and more companies and professionals move their domain services to European providers: infrastructure inside the European Union, contracts governed by a member state’s law and less dependence on a few non-EU platforms. NorthDNS runs on servers in Milan and Amsterdam and is operated from Italy (infrastructure details).
What you can replace
| Common service | European alternative in NorthDNS |
|---|---|
| Cloudflare DNS, Amazon Route 53, Google Cloud DNS | Authoritative DNS with DNSSEC and an API |
| Cloudflare proxy and CDN | HTTPS reverse proxy with automatic certificates, caching, WAF and rules |
| Cloudflare Tunnel, ngrok | Tunnels on subdomains of your own domain |
| Google Workspace or Microsoft 365 email for your domain only | Mailboxes on your own domain, webmail, IMAP and SMTP |
This page shows which features cover the same needs, not that they are equivalent in every way. The main differences are explained in A European alternative to Cloudflare.
